Dear Friends,
Welcome to the 2014 Campaign Chairs and Directors Mission. We are so pleased that
you will be joining us on this transformative journey to Greece and Israel. This pivotal experience will strengthen your campaign skills, knowledge and strategies as well as provide you with supporting materials, stories, defining moments and memories you will utilize throughout your campaign year. You will have colleagues from across the country to assist you as you take on the privilege
of serving the Jewish people as the lay and professional leadership of the 2015 Annual Campaign.
Our mission itinerary is spectacular. As with every experience, what you do in preparing and partaking you will get back tenfold.
So be PREPARED: Come to every session and site visit with your own goals in mind. Be ready to share successful initiatives and discuss questions about areas that can be improved in your community’s campaign.
Be POSITIVE: This is a demanding trip, but it will leave you energized if you stay focused on absorbing everything it has to offer.
Be PERSONAL: Speak with individuals during site visits, meals and bus rides. Talk about what you’re experiencing with your traveling companions. Take pictures, write down quotes, share emails and find what you need to have a successful campaign at home.
And be PASSIONATE: Your knowledge, commitment and involvement will help so many, including yourself.
This journal includes our detailed itinerary as well as other resources you will find useful. Perhaps most important are the blank journal pages: fill them with your reflections and insights. What touched you? What did you see that you will share with donors at home? What did you learn that you will implement in your own campaign?
Thank you for what you will accomplish and provide for so many who are depending on your efforts.
