JiLL NAmm was introduced to The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles more than 20 years ago. She started off hosting outreach activities, and before long she was asked to be on the Valley Alliance Women’s Department Board.
Most recently, Jill has been the Valley Alliance Campaign co-chair. Other past leadership roles have included Valley Alliance Women’s Department president and Women’s Campaign Chair. She continues
her work for the Federation as a board member, inspired by the powerful leaders with whom she works on a daily basis and by the concept that she is helping to make a difference for others at home and abroad.
Jill has traveled on Federation CCD missions to Israel, Poland, Ethiopia and Hungary and has seen first-hand how our work impacts the lives of those in Jewish communities around the world. After long-time involvement with her children’s schools as a volunteer, the Federation gave Jill more opportunities to give back to the community, and today she is an integral part of its work.
A Lion of Judah since 1998, Jill joined the board of National Women’s Philanthropy in 2009. In 2012, she was co-recruitment chair for the ILOJC in New York City, has co-chaired the Heart to Heart mission
to Israel, and is currently the vice chair of communication on the NWP board. Celebrated for her leadership in her
community, Jill received the Golda Award in 2013, the Rita Reznikoff Award in 2000. She and her husband, Steven, reside in Encino. They have three children; Rachel, Rebecca, and Michael; and one granddaughter, Olivia.
